Offer rejected, action starts on Thursday

UNISON and Unite polled members today and a resounding 76% voted to reject TfGM’s latest offer without a ballot and go ahead with industrial action from Thursday 12 December.

You can see details of the strikes, Action Short Of Strike, pickets and protests on stopthedrop.uk/action.

TfGM is likely to assess the participation in and impact of the action this week before deciding on any further concessions, so please encourage as many colleagues as possible to join in.

The top priority is the march on Thursday. We will be assembling at 12:45 outside TfGM at 2 Piccadilly Place (M1 3BG) and marching to a rally outside the Bee Network Committee meeting (Tootal Buildings, M1 6EU) which will be attended by Andy Burnham, Councillors and TfGM senior management. Bring colleagues, friends and family, and wear something yellow if you can.

If you have questions, check out the FAQs at stopthedrop.uk/faq.

The stronger the action this week, the greater the chances that TfGM will make an offer acceptable to members at an early stage.
